Refugee claimants are often misrepresented, misconstrued, and misunderstood. It is for this reason that MCRS encourages everyone to spend some time familiarizing yourself with the issues faced by refugee claimants.

Bill C-31: "Protecting Canada's Immigration System Act"

Bill C-31 is an omnibus Bill, including items from the law passed in 2010 to change the refugee claim process that were removed because they were unfair and unjust. The Bill also includes the entire Bill C-4 as well as new restrictions on refugee claimants. Check back soon for more information.
