Walking alongside refugee claimaints... supporting them every step of the journey.

Get Involved

Volunteers and faithful supporters are the very foundation of our work. Our ability to support refugee claimants and create a supportive community depends on the active participation of members of the community. There are many ways for you to get involved, but it all starts by being aware of the challenges faced by refugee claimants. From there,  just choose the area of involvement that suits you best. Your life will never be the same!

Volunteering with MCRS is a great way to learn about the challenges refugee claimants face in navigating the refugee claim process and settling in Canada. Volunteers at MCRS help refugee claimants in filling out paperwork, getting to know the community, accessing services, and providing someone to talk too.

Attending MCRS events, and inviting your friends is another good way to get involved with MCRS. Atttending events gives you the opportunity to meet refugee claimants, and to learn about what MCRS is doing in the community.

Advocating for refugee claimants individually and systemically is very important. Refugee claimants need others to affirm their voices within our community, to stand up for their rights, and to ensure that refugee claimants are given a fair chance.

We are looking forward to having you join us!
